In a world ...

Where movie theaters are clogged with tentpole projects, franchise reboots, and superfluous sequels, and culture buffs get sucked into spending more time spiraling through the virtual rabbit holes that are the entertainment libraries hosted by streaming platform giants, a little help might be in order. And to that, I say, I hear you.

Since my time as entertainment editor at DailyCandy, I’ve been screening, reviewing, editing, and packaging entertainment features pertaining to film and television for publications that include Harper’s Bazaar, Oprah Mag, Tasting Table, Greatist, and Fast Company. My work is diverse and all inclusive, with a focus on women in the industry. Click around my site for stories that offer movie recommendations in every genre, in-depth features that look at the landscape of the small screen’s zeitgeist, and even interviews and chats with some of Oscar’s most prized starlets.

I’m a New Yorker by way of Texas. And I honestly feel as though you can learn so much from a person just by learning their favorite movie. Mine is Beetlejuice. Ask me about it in person, and I’ll tell you why.
